After a combined ten years between military and
government contracting, Carrie decided that it was time to get out from
behind a desk and get proactive in reaching for her long term goal of a
career field that allowed her to help and improve the lives of others.
She applied and jumped head first into massage therapy school. It turned
out to be a very rewarding decision.
Her
favorite thing about the massage therapy field is that there are
endless opportunities to learn new things. Carrie is skilled in pre and
postnatal massage, visceral, neuromuscular, trigger point, and Swedish
massage, and other modalities as well. However, it’s learning more about
and working with those dealing with mental health struggles such as
eating disorders, depression, anxiety, and PTSD holds a place near and
dear to her heart. Carrie looks forward to expanding her list of skills
in order to keep growing as a professional and better providing for the
needs of clients.
